Olivia Overvoorde

  • Olivia Overvoorde Studio is an East Yorkshire-based boutique interior design studio that offers full-service interior design, virtual interior design, and an in-house 'Stitch Up, Look Sharp' service providing custom upholstery and bespoke soft furnishing solutions.

    Liv founded her design studio in 2019. She is a member of the British Institute of Interior Design and a graduate of both KLC School of Design and the University of the Arts London.

    Services span from concept to completion, offering solutions tailored to individual client needs. These can be adapted to suit a wide range of projects, from full-scale renovations to simpler sourcing, dressing and styling solutions.

    At the heart of Olivia Overvoorde Studio is the belief that interior design isn't just about crafting beautiful rooms. It's about creating spaces that go beyond aesthetics, delving into the realm of emotions and experiences.

    The Studio marries backgrounds in interior design and luxury hospitality with a curated list of craftsmen and suppliers to deliver schemes unique to each client.

  • Olivia (Liv) grew up in Yorkshire, with an inherent interest in design from a young age. In 2019, after a decade in London, she launched her own design studio. As a member of the British Institute of Interior Design and an alumnus of both the KLC School of Design and the University of the Arts London, Liv has established a solid foundation in the field of interior design.

    Her tenure in PR & Marketing for renowned luxury hospitality brands—including Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, the British Virgin Islands, and Qatar Tourism Authority—provided her with incredible experiences. During this time, she seized every opportunity to indulge her creativity, designing experiential dinners, managing press launches, and organising spectacular events, all while collecting inspiration and much-loved pieces on her travels.

    Liv's creativity extended beyond her professional pursuits; she frequently found herself transforming the homes of friends and family. Increasingly drawn to private commissions, Liv aspired to offer a service that mirrored her unique style and met the diverse needs of both homeowners and renters.

    Liv believes that, no matter where it is or how long you stay, 'home' is so much more than just a physical place to live—it's a feeling cultivated, providing the stage and backdrop for life's memories.

    On a personal note, Liv is recognised by her signature black attire and glasses and is usually fuelled by coffee and sparkling water. Beetle, her toy poodle, is a charming fixture in the studio's daily life, remarkably unfazed by the noise of upholstery work and intuitively understands that the beautiful chairs in the studio are not meant for canine companions.
